About This Program
You’ll train for your new career in comfortable small-sized classrooms and labs equipped with the tools and technology needed. Our goal is to train you in an environment as similar to a real workplace as possible so that you know the equipment and techniques well before you begin your career.
The Pharmacy Technician certification program can take up to 10 months to complete. In addition to gaining a solid foundation of knowledge about pharmacy terminology and fundamentals, you’ll get hands-on practice across a variety of pharmacy types, including retail, compounding, hospital, mail-order, and long-term care. You’ll also learn state and federal law, ethics, and professionalism. At the end of your program, you will also receive on-the-job training during an externship with a local employment partner.
